2008 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible SE Salvage, Automatic, 111k Miles! ENGINE RUNS GOOD, LOT RUNS/DRIVES, ALL AIRBAGS GOOD! As seen in the 50+ posted pictures this nice looking 2008 Volkswagen Beetle SE Automatic Convertible with 111k miles has no major body damage. It has sustained light undercarriage damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance company for resale in the condition you see it on the pictures below. We buy directly from insurance companies no middle man involved. Such vehicles can legally be returned back to the roads after proper repairs & your state salvage inspection. We have the salvage certificate of title (no liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. Looks like it was a light low undercarriage impact. Engine oil pan looks good but we noticed the oil filter housing is damaged. Bottom part of the radiator/condenser is also damaged along with light bumper damage. Engine starts and runs good, lot drives. We are selling it as an inop vehicle and do not recommend driving it until the damage is repaired. Overall condition of the vehicle is shown with many pictures. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
