The Scottsdale Mint launched the Biblical Coin Series in 2015. When complete in 2024, the series will be comprised of sixty coins, each based upon a Biblically themed woodcut masterpiece by Paul Gustave Louis Christophe Dor?, a well-known 19th century French artist. This 36th release of the inspiring series is adapted from the work titled "Christ in the Synagogue."
This 2020 Christ in the Synagogue coin contains 2 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
The 39 mm diameter coin features a spectacular high relief strike.
The two dollar coin is minted with a gorgeous antiqued proof finish.
The rimless coin's smooth edge is inscribed with a unique serial number.
The coin will arrive in themed original Mint packaging.
Mintage is limited to merely 1,499 pieces.
Stunningly Detailed Design
Obverse: The obverse is graced with a right facing image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include "QUEEN ELIZABETH II," "NIUE TWO DOLLARS," "2 OZ 999 FINE SILVER" AND "2020." The effigy was designed in 1985 by acclaimed British sculptor and founder of the Tower Mint, Raphael Maklouf.
Reverse: The reverse features Dor?'s graphic interpretation of Matthew 13:54-57a, depicting Christ standing on a raised stone platform in a Nazareth synagogue, surrounded by a group of followers listening to him speak. The inscription "CHRIST IN THE SYNAGOGUE" curves above the powerful image.

If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
