    Description

    This “S&S” cap gun was made in 1880 with a three star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 129 (S5.1). This cap gun is 4 5/8 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire the toy. The letters “S&S” are embossed on the left side of the gun and it has decorative scroll work on both sides of the grip. The barrel shows slight fading.
    This gun is in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
