    Description

    This “STEVENS 6 SHOT RAPID LOAD” cap gun was made in 1934. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page142 (S38.1). This cap gun is 6 1/4 inches in length. It is a multi shot, double action, which means pulling the trigger cocks and fires the toy. It takes a single cap. The toy has a revolving cylinder which moves each time the trigger is pulled. The name “RAPID LOAD” is clearly embossed on the left side of the gun, the words “Stevens 6 Shot” are encircled on both sides of the toy gun, and the words “MADE IN U.S.A” are on the right side of the gun. This is a heavy solid cap gun in excellent condition.
