    You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1880s French illustrated journal.
    It depicts a young Gordon setter who is startled to find a fawn deer hinding in the woods. Rare view of the breed almost 150 years ago!
    It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
    The caption reads: Les chevrettes et les faons
    which roughly translates to:
    The
    kids
    and
    the
    fawns
    Also included is a second page, which an article on the same subject.
    The page is in excellent condition for its age.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
