    Description

    The LA Olympic Organizing Committee sanctioned the production of this commemorative set of Southern California Rapid Transit bus tokens.  23 sport disciplines are represented, along with one token devoted to the universal spirit of the Games in LA.  These were sanctioned for use during the year 1984, but this set has never been out of the box.  The sports are depicted on the front of each token but the obverse sides have the symbols of the XXIIIrd Olympiad.  The numismatic artist was N. Neil Harris.
    The navy blue outside casing has some wear to it, but the inside is perfect.  See photos.
