About the artist:
Michigan country boy moved to Detroit in 1964 and after seeing the Beatles and Bob Dylan took photography classes at Wayne State. Hanging out at the local record store/head shop he met some artist and writers with whom he started CREEM in 1969. Shooting local bands, MC-5, Mitch Ryder and national bands at the legendary Grande Ballroom, Olympia Stadium and Cobo Hall, Jeff Beck with Rod Stewart, Elvis and Cream among others. CREEM Magazine went national in 1971 and he photographed David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Kiss, Alice Cooper and others while working with rock writers Dave Marsh and Lester Bangs. Around 1976 he retired his camera for full-time design and photo editing at CREEM where he published the best rock photographers in US and UK. After CREEM folded in 1985 he designed Detroit‘s alternative newspaper, Metro Times until 2003. Currently he designs Big City Blues Magazine.
Not examined out of the frame - sold as is but it looks perfect to me.
